It’s June, which means it’s summer, warm and true. I’m writing this from my family’s home in Seoul while munching on some Korean melons and sipping green tea. It’s morning and it’s humid and still. There’s a lot of personal stuff going on in my life right now that ranges from the most joyous of joys to scenes from movies that I never thought would become part of my own script. But as much of my world opens up after a long, grueling year of pain and continued loss, I can’t help but be excited for a wonderful, sparkling long summer, one filled with many toasts and cheers, music and dancing, and smiles not only of the eyes but of the whole face.
As always, I’ll be writing about favorite new recipes, daily musings, and memories of travel. I hope you can find some calm in what I love and share too.
